St Patrick’s day isn’t complete without some Lucky Charms cookies. Thankfully Crumbl came in with their infamous Original featuring Lucky Charms cereal for a fun little holiday twist.
Their cookie base it a thick and chewy cookie studded with white chocolate to give it a little sweetness and a fun textural twist. Then they top their cookies with a smooth marshmallow creme cream cheese frosting for a delicious mouthfeel.

Now let’s talk about our wonderful Lucky Charms toppings. If you are lucky enough to have a store that sells prepackaged bags of only the cute little marshmallows from the lucky charms then this task would be easy.
But I had to pick them out of a regular Lucky charms cereal box one by one and let me tell you, it took me a little while to get in the groove but as soon as I did we did it in no time!

Ingredients for this Crumbl Lucky charms cookies

- Butter– yu can use either salted or unsalted, just make sure that it’s at room temeprature.
- Brown sugar-This will give these cookies an extra rich flavor.
- Egg– Make sure to use an egg at room temp.
- Vanilla butter emulsion– This will give it a great vanilla and butter flavor. Use regular vanilla flavoring if you don’t have this.
- Baking soda– The baking soda will give these a little extra height.
- Flour– AP flour works great for this recipe.
- Salt– Always se a little salt in your baked goods to help balance out the sweetness.
- White chocolate– Use good quality white chocolate to make your cookies taste really good!
- Cream cheese- To make the frosting use softened cream cheese frosting.
- Marshmallow creme– This will be added to our frosting to give it that extra marshmallowy touch.
- Powdered sugar- This is used to sweeten the frosting.
- Vanilla extract- This will add a little depth of flavor to the frosting.
- Lucky charms cereal– You will only use the marshmallow parts of this cereal.
How to make Lucky charms cookies recipe

- Creamthe butter and sugar together.
- Mixin the egg and vanilla butter emulsion.
- Addin the dry ingredients and mix just until that disappears.
- Foldin the white chocolate chips.
- Scoopout the cookie dough with a large cookie scooper and drop on a prepared baking sheet. Gently flatten to about 1 inch in thickness.
- Bakein the preheated oven, let the cookies cool down, and before frosting and decorating with the Lucky charms marshmallows and enjoy!
Make the marshmallow cream cheese frosting
- Cream the butter and cream cheese together until smooth and combined.
- Mix in the vanilla, powdered sugar and marshmallow creme, and whip again until light and fluffy.
- Frost the cookies then decorate with the lucky charms marshmallows.

Do I have to frost these cookies?
You technically don’t have to frost these cookies. They are just as good without the frosting because they have chocolate chips and Lucky Charms marshmallows in there.
I would definitely recommend having these with the frosting though so that all the flavors and textures are balanced. It helps adds extra sweetness to the cookie which is always nice!

Ingredients
- ½ cup butter salted or unsalted, softened
- ½ cup brown sugar light
- 1 egg at room temperature
- 2 teaspoon butter vanilla emulsion or vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 & ⅓ cup flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅔ cup white chocolate chips
- ½ cup Lucky charms marshmallows optional but highly recommended
Marshmallow creme frosting
- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- 2 tablespoon butter softened
- 3 tablespoon marshmallow cream
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchement paper and set aside.
Cream the softened butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
Mix in one egg and the vanilla butter emulsion.
Add in the flour, salt, and baking soda and mix to combine. Make sure to stop mixing as soon as the flour. mixture disappears to avoid overmixing. Fold in the white chocolate chips and the lucky charms cereal.
Using a large cookie scooper, scoop out 8 large cookie dough balls, place them on the prepared baking sheet, flatten them to about 1 inch in thickness, and bake for 11-12 minutes. Let the cookies cool down on the baking sheet for 20-30 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack.
Make the marshmallow cream frosting
Cream the butter, cream cheese, and marshmallow fluffy together until combined.
Add in the vanilla and the powdered sugar and whip until light and fluffy.
Frost each cooled cookie then top with some Lucky Charms marshmallows and enjoy!
